Website of Roger Stevenson

History

Equanimitas came to life in 2011 as a painting studio for Roger Stevenson and a pottery studio for the 5 members of pARTners-in-CLAY. Initially, it served as a home for producing large canvases for the walls of facilities on the Greenwood Genetic Center campus. Over 150 paintings, many in the abstract style of Jackson Pollock, but with a greater palette of color, have left the studio for this purpose. Thousands of pots have left the pottery studio in the same decade.

In 2022, Equanimitas also became a writing studio. The first novel produced there, The Pinch Hitters, will be published by Brandylane Publishers in 2024. Fireside Poetry has also settled in Equanimitas as home.
